New Reports In A Compact Format To Go!
The month of January is already in the books and since it’s a new year, I’ve stepped up my market reports! The first thing you’ll notice is that I’ve simplified many of my graphics and given them a redesign. Secondly, and I believe this will be most valuable to everyone moving forward, I’ve broken down my core stats to New Construction and Resale. I will continue to provide the full combined reports, but it’s already interesting seeing how New Construction was skewing the overall market report. Lastly, there is an exciting announcement in the works that I hope to be able to introduce during the month of February. I promise that if you are a statistics junkie, you will like what I’m working on. No hints..
Monthly Market Snapshot as of January 31st
This report contains TONS of information. First of all, it is divided into three sections. The green section on the left is Resale inventory, the blue middle section is All Properties and right section in red is New Construction. The top speedometer graphic of each group displays the current months of inventory and corresponding market type. The average days on market is also displayed. Below the speedometer graphic is an odometer displaying the year to date closed sales. The information at the bottom displays the current median sale price, for sale and pending counts and the median list prices. This report is mean to be exactly as it is named, a snapshot of the real estate market. It currently is displayed on my business Facebook page www.facebook.com/simplydesmoines every Monday evening after 6pm.
